Lusiana, halfway between Marostica and Asiago
Few places better exemplify the term “strategic location” – perfectly situated for access to many attractions – than Lusiana (752 m. a.m.s.l.), one of the 7 Municipalities of the Asiago Plateau (“Altopiano di Asiago 7 Comuni”). It provides easy access to the most important and interesting sites in the Veneto Region, such as Venice, Padova, Verona, Treviso and of course, Vicenza. Ideal for a long weekend in the country, but also the perfect base to see the whole region for those from far away.
Coming from the A4 Torino (Turin)-Venice (Venezia) highway, take the SPV Pedemontana Veneta towards Treviso and exit at Breganze. From here follow the signs for Salcedo/Lusiana through San Giorgio di Perlena. Follow the gentle incline and overview for about 15 km. Once in Lusiana continue for about 3 km towards Asiago. A the 17th turn, you’ll see the bell tower: La Scuola Guesthouse is right in front of the tower.
Coming from Bassano del Grappa, continue towards Marostica and just before the center, at the second roundabout you’ll meet, turn right on street “Strada del Rameston” for Lusiana. Follow the pleasant 14 km incline that crosses the villages of Crosara and Santa Caterina di Lusiana. Once in Lusiana, continue for about 3 km towards Asiago. A the 17th turn, you’ll see the bell tower: La Scuola Guesthouse is right in front of the tower.
Coming from Asiago center, take the direction Bassano del Grappa. After about 10 km, at a crossroads, go straight and follow the signs for Lusiana. After about 6 km you’ll get at Piazza-Campana neighborhood. Beware: the road to get to La Scuola is on your right, just behind a house.
